Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, and payment information. We also automatically collect certain information when you use our platform, including usage data and device information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send you technical notices and support messages, and respond to your comments and questions. We may also use your information to send you promotional communications, which you can opt out of at any time. If you join our early-access list, we use your email address only to tell you when ROVAIP launches, and we delete it whenever you ask.
AI-Generated Content
When you use our AI visualization services, the photos and settings you submit are sent to an external AI provider for processing and returned to us as generated images. We do not use your photos or generated images to train AI models; we do keep, without any link to you, the text of your corrections to AI readings (see the section on AI processing below). Your uploads and generated images are retained while your account is active so that you can reach them in your gallery; you can delete individual projects at any time, and we delete your content when you delete your account or ask us to at contact@rovaip.com. To restore the service after a fault, we keep backup copies for up to 30 days; they are then overwritten. Backups are not used for any other purpose, and deleted data is not restored from them.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the providers who operate the service on our behalf: the AI provider that generates and analyses your images (OpenAI or Google, depending on the model in use), and the hosting provider that runs our servers. Processing by the AI provider may take place outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards those providers offer. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
AI Processing and Your Corrections
To analyse your photos and generate designs, we send them to Google's Gemini API, which we use on its paid tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, Google does not use your photos to train its models; it keeps request data for up to 55 days to detect abuse. Google acts as our processor for this. When the AI reads your photo or a reference image, you can correct what it says. To improve how our system reads photos, we keep the text of the AI's reading and of your correction — never a photo — separately from your account: without your name, email address, account or project, with only the month it was made, and with email addresses, phone numbers and web links removed first. Because it is not linked to you, we may keep it indefinitely, and for the same reason we cannot find or delete an individual correction on request. Please do not type personal details into a correction. Using your correction to generate the design you asked for is part of the service.
Feedback and the Showcase
Feedback: when you send feedback from inside the app, we keep your text together with your account and the page and language you wrote it in, and we read it to improve the product. When we move a piece of feedback into our task list, we remove your name and email address. Your feedback is deleted when you delete your account. Showcase: if you have given showcase permission, we may show the photo you uploaded and the images you generated from it (including variations and camera angles) as examples on our website and on our own social media accounts. We use your examples without anything that identifies you (such as your name or email address); if you would like your name or your practice's name to appear, just write to contact@rovaip.com. This permission is optional, and you can withdraw it at any time in My Collection. When you withdraw it, we remove your examples from these places. Withdrawing your permission does not affect use made before that date. We do not use images that show people's faces or personal information in the showcase.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can also object to or restrict certain processing of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@rovaip.com.
Cookies and Local Storage
This website sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts. We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage, all of it necessary to run the service: your sign-in session, the gallery selection you have saved, and your in-progress design so that reloading the page does not lose your work. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you sign out or clear your browser storage.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
